Today the new Illumination 2009 website has finally launched! Along with the launch come a slew of announcements, so lets cut to the chase.

First we have artists. Which artists? How about some Sanctus Real, Phil Wickham, Jason Gray, and Chasen? If that's not enough, the local-based Adam Cappa Band will be performing again this year, but this time on the main stage as an opening act to the artists listed before. There is more to the main stage than just musical artists, though, because we are bringing back the Splat Experience to paint yet another masterpiece!

Illumination is a Festival, so music is great, but what else is there to do? First on the list is Guitar Hero! We started Guitar Hero last year, but we are really kicking it into high octane this year with a first place prize of a Fender Starcaster electric guitar signed by all the Illumination Artists. Want more than music? Maybe you will enjoy a game of PAINTBALL! The rumors are true, we are working in coordination with i70 Paintball to bring the thrill right here to Illumination Festival. More details can be found on the Activities->Paintball page.

Just want to chill? That's fine too because new this year at Illumination is a Worship Coffeehouse. Sit and enjoy a nice cup of Joe while listening to local bands perform worship music on the front stage.
